Before Auralplane, Paper Airplane existed between David Kruger and I for many years. It really hasn't stopped, but has been in a time limited state for a number of years as distance between our homes has played a role in how often we can get together and noodle around.

Paper Airplane and my own earlier recordings consist a lot of ideas we fulfilled or hashed out. Armed with two tape decks, a 4 or 8 track, or on occasion Gabe's ADAT, we recorded at Dave's or my parent's places. There are a few recordings at ABC Variety in Oakville or the Cogeco transmitting station house in Burlington, ON. Although the recording quality isn't there for a lot of the older tunes, I feel the ideas were captured and felt that they should be posted.

I recently formed the Auralplane band name for my projects and Dave has created The League of Kruger. Things have changed since we first started writing together in highschool. We're both running digital studios at home now and have way more gear to play with. I've also met two additional musician friends over the years - Ken Baird and Steve Cochrane. They're now part of my musical family and I've spent some time working and writing with them as well.

The only nemesis for me is time. This appears to be the only reason I can think of that I'd want to be younger again. I had time then to write and record. Priorities change, but my love for music never will. I hope you enjoy the selections provided.
